This month, we’re looking beyond the usual getaway ideas and exploring exciting opportunities both near and far. We’d love your input on future European travel experiences through our latest survey, and we’re also spotlighting an incredible Virgin Voyages sailing to Alaska that combines breathtaking scenery with the award-winning, adults-only experience travelers love.
Whether you’re imagining a stroll through a European city, watching glaciers drift by from a cruise ship, or simply gathering inspiration for your next vacation, we’re here to help turn those travel dreams into reality. Let’s dive in!
Dreaming of Europe in 2027?
Here at Let’s Talk travel, we absolutely love planning new adventures — and we’re here to talk about something new we’ve been working on!
We’re exploring the idea of offering a collection of hosted, small-group European journeys in 2027 and 2028 — and we would truly love your input.
These experiences would blend iconic sights, authentic local experiences, beautiful accommodations, amazing food & wine, and enough downtime to truly enjoy each destination instead of feeling rushed.
The goal? Europe done beautifully — without the stress of planning it all yourself.
Here are a few of the destinations we’re currently considering:
Portugal – Lisbon & the Douro Valley
Lisbon combines historic neighborhoods and city viewpoints with time to enjoy the nearby coastline.In the Douro Valley, days are built around vineyard visits, private tastings at family-run estates, and long lunches overlooking the river, with plenty of time to take in the scenery.
Italy – Rome & Tuscany
In Rome, every detail is thoughtfully arranged, with guided visits to the Vatican, the Colosseum, and the city’s most iconic landmarks. Tuscany brings a more immersive experience, centered on a hands-on cooking class, visits to local wineries, and slow afternoons shaped by food, wine, and the landscape.
France – Paris & the Loire Valley
Paris offers an engaging mix of culture, food, and neighborhood life, from morning café stops to time in its museums and gardens. The Loire Valley introduces a quieter rhythm, with château visits, private tastings, village markets, and time to linger in the countryside.
England – London & the Cotswolds
London brings together its cultural landmarks and neighborhood life, with time to explore the city beyond the main sites. In the Cotswolds, days are shaped by village visits, winding country roads, and relaxed evenings in traditional pubs.
Greece – Athens & the Islands
Athens combines historic landmarks and vibrant neighborhoods, before continuing on to the islands. Time on the islands is spent by the sea, with a private boat day, swimming in quiet coves, and evenings over long dinners by the water.
