Strollers & ECVs at Disney: What You Need to Know

Planning a Disney trip? Whether you're traveling with toddlers or guests needing mobility support, the right gear is key. Here’s how to navigate stroller and ECV rentals at Disney—with pricing and rental options both inside the parks and delivered right to your resort.

👶 Strollers at Disney

Disney welcomes families with strollers, but there are a few important guidelines:

  • Size limits: Strollers must be no larger than 31” wide x 52” long. Stroller wagons are not permitted.

  • Rental options: You can rent single or double strollers directly inside the parks or at Disney Springs. Rentals are available per day, or you can save by renting for the length of your stay.

  • Bring your own: Many families prefer to bring their own stroller for comfort, storage, and flexibility. Just make sure it meets Disney’s size guidelines.

  • Stroller parking: You’ll find designated stroller parking throughout the parks. Cast Members may move strollers around to keep the area organized, so don’t panic if yours isn’t exactly where you left it.

  • Tips for comfort: A stroller fan, rain cover, and a colorful ribbon or tag make your stroller easier to spot (and your little ones much happier!).

♿ ECVs (Scooters) at Disney

For adults or older guests who need extra help getting around, ECVs are a lifesaver:

  • Availability: ECV rentals are available at all four Walt Disney World parks, Disney Springs, and Disneyland parks. They are first-come, first-served, so arrive early to secure one.

  • Rental fees: ECVs require a daily fee plus a refundable deposit. (Prices may vary, so check Disney’s official site before your trip.)

  • Third-party rentals: Several outside companies deliver ECVs directly to Disney resorts and nearby hotels. These can be used both inside and outside the parks, offering more flexibility.

  • Accessibility: Disney attractions, restaurants, and transportation are designed to be ECV-friendly. Many rides offer wheelchair-accessible entrances or transfer options.

  • Tips for ease: Practice driving in an open space before entering crowded areas. ECVs can be bulky, and navigating through parades or fireworks crowds can take patience.

Disney In-Park Rentals

  • Single stroller: $15/day or $13/day with multi-day pre-payment

  • Double stroller: $31/day or $27/day with multi-day pre-payment

  • ECV (scooter): $65/day + $20 refundable deposit

These rentals are located near park entrances and Disney Springs. Your receipt enables stroller use across parks during park hopping. Rentals must stay inside the parks.

Off-Site Rentals Delivered to Your Resort

Prefer to keep gear handy all day? Off-site vendors deliver to your resort—no need to coordinate at the park entrance. Here are some that we reccommend:

  • ScooterBug: ECVs from ~$27–30/day; strollers from ~$10–14/day. Delivery to Disney resorts is seamless—you don’t even need to be present.

  • Buena Vista Rentals: High-quality scooters, strollers, and wheelchairs with free delivery (contact for pricing).

  • Other vendors (Kingdom Strollers, Magic Strollers, Orlando Stroller Rentals, etc.): Flexible stroller rentals with upgraded comfort options; some require you to be present for pick-up/drop-off.

Which Option Works Best?

If you’re doing a one-day visit and want simplicity, Disney’s in-park options are convenient. But for longer stays, where comfort and guaranteed availability matter, consider off-site rentals—especially if you plan to return to your room midday or hop between parks.

At Let’s Talk Travel, we help families think through the little details that make big differences. From stroller guidelines to arranging ECV rentals, we’ll make sure your Disney adventure is smooth, comfortable, and unforgettable. Having the right stroller or mobility solution ensures that everyone, from toddlers to grandparents, can fully enjoy the magic.
