September: The best time to travel to Disney World…

And a little giveaway that’s just too good to pass up!

Without fail, the question I'm most asked is When is the best time to go to Disney World?

And my response? September.

Time and again, it’s September.

There was a time, when October held that sweet spot. And while October is great month to visit Disney World, it has also become one of the most popular months to escape to the most Magical Place on Earth.

January too, has been a go-to for vacationers seeking lower crowds. Don’t get me wrong, the hubs and I spent a week at the Riviera this past January. We had a great time for sure… but the hope for lower crowds wasn’t quite fulfilled.

But September… (ahh September…) has been the month I keep coming back to. Not just for myself, but for my clients. September at Disney World holds a bevy of options appealing to a wide range of vacation goers.

September, has become quietly appealing.

As you can tell, I’m falling a little more in love with this transitional month. It’s the harbinger to my favorite time of year and while she still looks a bit like summer, her eyes sparkle with pumpkin spice and jack-o-lanterns and her crown jewel: Halloween.

So let me tell you why you should become a convert too...

When you’re looking for Low Crowds, it’s Disney World in September.

With the start of school across the U.S., and a big portion of the Disney target audience heading back into the classroom, the parks tend to, well… empty out. Attraction wait times dip, dining availability opens up and attendance become not only more manageable… but also down right appealing.

Looking for more Resort Room Availability? Let’s look at September.

Hotels on the Skyliner and Monorail lines (or those resorts within walking distance of some parks) are the most popular and often run out of availability first, leaving some hopeful resort guests searching for availability at other on property resorts. But then September rolls along and says… let’s see what I’ve got. And boy, does she have good availability. (I just checked today and thing are looking good!)

Looking for Seasonal Fall Favorites? September has your back!

The Fall Season begins in August. Did you know that? Well… it begins in August at Disney World (and, possibly my home. At least my husband hasn’t noticed the ceramic pumpkins in the corner of the kitchen counter yet, lol!) Disney World starts decorating and welcoming Fall and Halloween in August with the beginning of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and continues straight through midnight on October 31st. Ticket prices for the parks and Halloween Party swell into October… but September still has lower party rates and all the Fall awesome-ness you could hope for😊 Seasonal treats, merchandise, shows and decorations with everything literally dripping from Main Street, U.S.A,. It’s every Fall dream you could ever have at the Magic Kingdom!

Want Rates to fit your budget? SEPTEMBER!!!

Disney, as a business, wants to be busy all the time. Naturally, the public has other thoughts on that… and crowds swell at different times of the year, based on public interest. In order to keep guests interested, room and ticket rates drop at various times of the year in order to entice guests to visit. September, overall, has great rates right now. Because Disney, with a wink and shoulder nudge is sort of saying Lookie Lookie what’s happening over here! Don’t you want to visit?

And of course, we do… you do… all of us want to visit at an optimal time where low crowds and lower pricing intersect.
